Thanks to the hard work of Lewinsohn, Endicott and many others at the University of Oregon throughout the 1960’s and early 1970’s we still continue to use behavioural activation to support people with depression. A meta-analysis by Ekers and others in 2014 examining 26 RCT’s confirms in modern times it remains an effective treatment for depression.
